DAPC recognises that training for Councillors and Clerks of member Councils is increasingly important. This issue has been highlighted by the Quality Parish Scheme, where having a trained Clerk and well informed Councillors is key to achieving Quality Status. DAPC has put in place a training programme to help train and inform both Clerks and Councillors. Below are the details of the training events that are running at present.

ONLINE BOOKING FORM - we have now introduced online booking for DAPC events and the form can be found by going to the top left of this page and clicking on 'book now'. Please note that confirmations for bookings will not be sent until approximately 10 days prior to the event. Other useful training events can be found at:

If you can't find the training you would like, please contact Cara Stobart at 01392 382534 or Cara@devonrcc.org.uk, we hold a record of 'expressions of interest' so it may be possible to arrange the training for you.
VAT - DAPC has recently becoming VAT registered. For those of you who have recently booked places on our courses, you will be charged VAT on top of the price shown. May I remind you that Parish/Town Councils can reclaim their VAT.
